What business is your neighbourhood still missing?

Cebugle · 9 days ago

Every barangay has a gap. No hardware store that stays open past six. Nowhere to get a shirt printed without crossing the city. No pharmacy on a Sunday. One laundry for four streets, and a queue by nine in the morning. Somewhere nearby, everybody has a twenty-minute trip they make for something that ought to be five minutes away.

So: what is yours?

Tell us:

  1. Where you are — city and barangay is enough — and the one business you wish would open there.
  2. What is the trip you keep making because nothing local does it? Hardware, printing, aircon repair, vet, dental, a decent bakery, motor parts?
  3. What arrived in the last year or two that genuinely improved things? Credit where it is due.
  4. What closed and left a hole nobody has filled?
  5. And the other side of it — what does your area have too many of already?

If a place you rely on has no page here on Cebugle yet, name it. Those are exactly the gaps worth closing, and a lot of them get found this way rather than from any list.

Ground rules: name places, not people. If it is your own business, say so up front — a plug with the disclosure is fine, one pretending to be a recommendation is not. Complaints about a specific shop are better as a review on its page than as a pile-on here.
