Loan Origination Manager II

As a Loan Origination Manager II within the Loan Origination team, you lead a team responsible for end-to-end loan origination support, with a focus on accurate documentation and timely transaction closing.

Job responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of loan origination specialists to support accurate loan documentation and on-time transaction closing
• Set team priorities, assign work, and manage capacity to meet service commitments and quality standards
• Identify and resolve process gaps, operational issues, and escalation items using structured problem-solving and risk awareness
• Partner with stakeholders to align expectations, communicate status, and drive timely resolution of questions or exceptions
• Implement process improvements and change initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and the overall client and stakeholder experience.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 4 years of experience managing loan origination processes and supporting loan documentation through closing
• Experience with strategic planning and resource allocation to manage team workload and operational priorities
• Demonstrated conflict management and issue resolution skills, applying critical thinking to evaluate risks and drive outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decisions

• Experience supporting lending services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience leading change initiatives that improve processes, adopt new tools, or respond to evolving business needs
• Experience using data analysis and emerging technologies (including artificial intelligence and machine learning) to improve workflows and decision-making
• Experience creating quantitative reports and performance metrics to support operational reviews and planning
• Understanding of fraud risk concepts and operational security practices used to protect sensitive information
